My son has been with AWA since he was 5 years old. The coaching staff is not only knowledgeable, but patient too. My son is 12 now, and moving into MS wrestling. AWA has taught him much more than just wrestling, he's learned discipline, hard work, and respect. Coaches are very supportive of the club at local and national tournaments. Proud to be part of such an amazing club.

I introduced the sport of wrestling to my son Alex because there are numerous lessons that can be learned from the sport that he will carry forward throughout his life. Ascend Wrestling Academy is unique in that it is a faith-based sports club that compliments exceptional instruction and leadership from some of the most accomplished wrestling coaches around while strengthening and leveraging our christian values. AWA seeks to inspire our youth in order to turn them into high quality young men and women driven by our faith and the sport of wrestling. Ascend Wrestling Academy is a place where you are welcomed with a smile and encouraged to be the best "version of you". The goal of "Ascend" is for everyone to leave there feeling cared about and better than you arrived.

Wrestling has been a passion for my son since he was 5yrs old. Being a part of Ascend Wrestling Academy has allowed him to pursue that passion and become the committed and competitive athlete he has become. For me, spending time with other wrestling parents, coaches and athletes brings joy and friendship. I get to meet the best people and share in their happiness and disappointment for their kids. That brings a special bond into life.

We have been a part of this club going on 5 years. It has been one of THE best decisions we made after moving here from Utah. Our son loves the friendships he has made with wrestlers and coaches alike. He has the support he needs to not only grow as an athlete, but also into a successful adult. They teach technique, personal responsibility, work ethic, and community. It feels more like a family at times because the parents, coaches, and athletes come together when needed to help support the success of ALL the kids. They instill in the kids that success is not based on how many medals/wins you get, but how you learn and grow along the way. We look forward to many more years with this amazing group of individuals!
